Privacy Policy

Effective August 16, 2026. This policy describes how Inspector Catch-it (“iCatch-it,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use the iCatch-it app and website at icatchit.app.

Who this is for

iCatch-it is software for home inspectors. Inspectors create accounts and enter job information. Clients and other parties may open a link we send (for example, to read and sign an inspection agreement). If you are a client, the inspector you hired is the one who entered your name and contact details.

Information we collect

Account data: email address, password (stored by our auth provider, not in plain text), and profile details you choose to save, such as company name and office address.

Job data inspectors enter: property addresses, quote details, schedules, contract parties, report findings, and photos attached to a job.

Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, and basic logs needed to run sign-in, password reset, and email-change links.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your job data to advertise to your clients.

How we use it

We use this information to provide the app: quotes, agreements, scheduling, reports, account security, and email you request (password reset, email change, agreement links). We may use aggregated, de-identified usage to keep the product working.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host the app and send email (including our database and authentication provider). They process data only to run iCatch-it.

People you choose to include on a job — for example, a buyer who opens an agreement link the inspector sent.

We disclose information if required by law, or to protect the service and the people who use it.

Retention and security

We keep account and job data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward so you can export or reopen past jobs. You can ask us to delete an account. We use industry-standard access controls; no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You can update your email and password in the app or on the account pages we host. You can ask us for a copy of your account data, or to correct or delete it, by emailing the address below. If you are a client and want your information changed, start with the inspector who created the job; we can help if they ask us to.

Children

iCatch-it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
